William, donated heart valves to help four babies.

At 70 years old, after an emergency scan had revealed a bleed on his brain, William died with his family at his bedside.

Although he had not recorded an organ donation decision, William's family felt he would have wanted to help others.

William donated both his kidneys, his corneas and his heart valves. His heart valves were able to help four babies.

I am so pleased that we agreed to donate. Organ donation has bought so much comfort to us, and I am full of incredible pride for my wonderful dad.
