On Thursday 5 July 2018 the NHS will be 70 years old.

The National Health Service is turning 70 on 5th July 2018. NHS organisations around the country are holding events, celebrating their advances in science and technology and sharing their history in the run up to July.
This video celebrates some of the key milestones reached since the NHS was first launched in 1948, including the introduction of the Organ Donor Register in 1994.
