Kristof's story

Kristof’s life was saved at the age of three by an organ donor.

Kristof was born with a very rare genetic condition, which lead to liver failure.

He became unwell around his third birthday and his family were told he needed a transplant.

Kristof received a life-saving liver transplant from a young organ donor named Justin.

Less than a decade later he’s won more than 10 gold medals at the Transplant Games!

He can dream big. He can do whatever he wants. Erika-small-square.jpg

Every day across the UK, someone dies waiting for an organ transplant.

The law around organ donation in England is changing to help more people pass on more organs to save and improve more lives like Kristof's.

You still have a choice if you want to be an organ donor when you die.

Whatever you decide, make sure you let your family and friends know.

Have you recorded your organ donation decision?
