There are currently 446 people in Wales waiting for an organ transplant. Last year in Wales 149 people received an organ transplant and 130 people received a cornea or sclera transplant.
Just over 716,000 people residing in Wales have joined the NHS Organ Donor Register which represents 25% of the country’s total population.
