Key campaigns
Different solutions for different challenges
We run a number of major campaigns to make people aware of the benefits of transplantation and the desperate shortage of donors.
Most of these campaigns are aimed at the general public but some are aimed at particular audiences.
SMS texting
SMS texting campaign
A striking new advertising campaign runs in the South West until the end of April to highlight the shortage of donated organs for transplants. And for the first time anyone prompted by the outdoor adverts to join the NHS Organ Donor Register will be able to sign up by texting GIVE to 84118.
My life, My gift
My life, My gift campaign
For our latest major campaign we are making a direct appeal to people to join the NHS Organ Donor Register.
Over 11.6 million UK households are to receive an organ donation leaflet and freepost registration form through their letterbox, making it even easier for everyone to give the gift of life.
Cornea

Every year the miracle of cornea transplantation gives the precious gift of sight to more than 2,000 people.
Our cornea campaign received a special boost in December 2005 as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the world's first cornea transplant.

More 17-year-olds sign up to the register than people of any other age. How are we grabbing their attention?
