Donation Advisory Group
This group includes intensive care consultant representation and donor co-ordinator representation from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, covering a range of size and specialisation of units. Other members represent relevant organisations and groups such as the British Association of Critical Care Nursing, Society of British Neurosurgeons, UK Transplant Co-ordinators Association, British Association of Tissue Banking, and UK Transplant.
The aim of the group is to act as a source of advice and to assist UK Transplant in improving and optimising all aspects of organ donation and to develop better communications between UK Transplant and the critical care community.
